King Vs. California King

So what’s the difference?
Length and Width. A standard King bed (also sometimes called an Eastern King) is wider, but shorter. It’s length is the same as a queen size bed, so if you or your mate is very tall a standard King will not stop your feet from hanging off the bed but will give you more room to tumble about.
A California King (also referred to as a Western King) is longer, but not as wide.
Their measurements are:
Eastern/Standard King Size: 76″ wide by 80″ long. ( a total of 6,080 square inches)
California King Size: 72″ wide by 84″ long. (a total of 6,048 square inches)
| Fitted sheets are NOT interchangeable so buy them with caution. |
